Fighting for a Cause: Our Associate Stepped into the Ring for the MCA Trust
At Adam Benedict, we were incredibly proud of the dedication and commitment shown by our associate, Harrison Carr, who stepped out of the office and into the boxing ring this September in support of a remarkable cause.
On 27 September, Harrison took part in the charity boxing event Fight for the MCA Trust, raising vital funds for the MCA Trust – a charity that provides invaluable support to children and families affected by cancer across Essex and East London.
Why the MCA Trust?
Over the past two years, Harrison had attended several MCA Trust events and had seen first-hand the life-changing impact the charity makes on young patients and their families. He spoke of the courage and resilience these children showed when facing the harshest of circumstances, and of the lasting impression it left on him.
The MCA Trust went beyond financial assistance, offering emotional support and opportunities for families to create lasting memories during some of their most difficult moments. From improving hospital facilities to funding projects that brought happiness and relief, the Trust was dedicated to ensuring that no child or family felt they were fighting alone.
Fighting in and out of the Ring
Inspired by the charity’s mission, Harrison committed himself to months of training in preparation for his charity fight. While boxing was outside the usual remit, his determination reflected both his personal passion for the cause and the spirit of service we value at Adam Benedict.
