Adam Benedict Wins the 2025 Reisman Award for Best New Law Firm

Adam Benedict is proud to announce that we have been officially named the winner of the 2025 Reisman Award for Best New Law Firm, presented today at the Clio Cloud Conference in Boston.

The Reisman Awards, hosted by leading legal technology provider Clio, celebrate law firms across the globe that are redefining modern legal practice through innovation, client service, and business excellence.

This is a particularly momentous achievement for us. Adam Benedict is the first English firm ever to win a Reisman Award, and only the second UK firm to do so in the award’s history — with the last UK winner recognised over eight years ago. To be recognised on a global stage amongst such a prestigious field of firms is both humbling and inspiring.

The Best New Law Firm category recognises firms that have achieved exceptional growth and impact in their early years — and this year, Adam Benedict takes that title.

Founded with a clear vision to bring a seamless client-centred approach to law, Adam Benedict has quickly built a reputation for delivering commercially focused, transparent, and accessible legal advice. The firm’s growth across all areas has been underpinned by one guiding principle: helping clients make confident, informed decisions that drive success.

In the construction sector, the firm has also made legal history by securing the first-ever Building Liability Order under the Building Safety Act 2022 — a landmark case that set a national precedent and cemented Adam Benedict’s standing as a leader in complex, high-stakes litigation.

Co-founder and Managing Director, Adam Creasey, said:

“Winning the Reisman Award for Best New Law Firm is an incredible honour. It represents more than recognition; it’s validation of the vision and values that inspired us to start this firm. From day one, we set out to build a practice that puts people first, embraces innovation, and delivers exceptional results with integrity. This award reminds us that even as a new firm, you can make a real impact when you stay true to your principles and your clients. I’m deeply grateful to our team and our clients who made this possible — this win belongs to all of us.

When founding the firm, I aligned our philosophy with Jack Newton’s vision of the client-centred law firm. To now be recognised by Clio itself for that very approach feels like a full-circle moment.”

Co-founder and Director, Ben Cressey, added:

“This award is a reflection of our people and the systems we’ve built. From digital workflows to client communications, every process has been designed to make life simpler and more transparent for our clients. It’s proof that innovation and human connection can go hand in hand.”

Non-Executive Director and Head of Litigation, Ian Coupland, commented:

“This recognition highlights the strength and depth of our team. We’ve taken on complex, high-value matters while staying true to our ethos of strategic, commercially driven advice. For a young firm, this award reinforces that we’re on the right path.”

As Adam Benedict continues to expand, this accolade serves as both recognition and motivation. The firm remains committed to challenging traditional models, fostering innovation, and supporting clients with clarity and confidence.
